13-year-old British
boy has
fathered a child with his 15-year-old
girlfriend making him one of the country’s youngest dads,
The Sun reports.
The front page of the British tabloid
shows a picture of a baby-faced boy holding the hand of a
newborn girl.
Alfie Patten, who looks very much younger
than his age, was only 12 when his girlfriend, Chantelle
Steadman conceived after a single night of unprotected
sex.
The young couple decided against having an abortion and
Chantelle gave birth to their 7lb 3oz daughter, Maisie
Roxanne, at Eastbourne District General Hospital
earlier this week.
“When my mum found out, I thought I was going to get in
trouble. We wanted to have the baby but were worried how people
would react,” Alfie said.
